Andean New Year/Willkakuti, Machaq Mara with Comunidad Anqari & Ajayu

A cultural celebration of Willkakuti, the Aymara New Year observed on June 21st in Bolivia, Peru, and Chile. Comunidad Anqari and Ajayu perform traditional highland music and maintain Aymara customs from the Altiplano region, bringing South American indigenous traditions to the Bay Area.
