By accessing or using Punto Latino (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Punto Latino is an online directory of Latino-owned businesses and cultural events in the United States. The Service aggregates publicly available information from third-party sources, applies AI-assisted classification and summarization, and presents this information to help users discover Latino culture in their area. Listings may include third-party content.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with site functionality, or submitting false or misleading information when contacting us.
4. Third-Party Links and Listings
Listings link to and describe businesses and events operated by third parties. Punto Latino does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their goods, services, content, or availability.
5. Intellectual Property
The Punto Latino name, logo, brand, site design, software, and the original summaries, categorizations, and editorial content we produce are owned by Punto Latino and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or redistribute these elements without permission.
Listings aggregate publicly available information about events and businesses operated by third parties, and may include images and excerpts originating from those third parties. We do not claim ownership of facts (such as names, dates, addresses, and times), nor of third-party content displayed in listings.
6. Content Removal & Correction Requests
If you are a venue owner or event organizer and would like a listing about your business or event corrected, updated, or removed, email contact@puntolatino.app. We respond within 5 business days.
If you have other concerns about content displayed in a listing — including questions about images or written material — please use the same email and include the URL of the listing and a description of your concern. We review and respond promptly.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing or information on the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Punto Latino shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.
