In Lak ech Dance Academy hosts a weekly all-levels bachata lesson and social in Oakland, with the first class free for newcomers. This LGBTQ2S+ affirming space intentionally centers queer dancers in Latin dance, providing a safe environment where gender expression is celebrated. The class-plus-social format allows participants to immediately practice techniques in a community-focused setting.
