Las Mermeladas: Free Music Jam in Berkeley (All Ages & Skill Levels)

La Pena Cultural Center hosts Las Mermeladas, a monthly community music jam welcoming musicians and singers of all skill levels and ages. The gathering focuses on Latin American and Afro-Latin music styles such as salsa, cumbia, boleros, Latin jazz, and regional folk music. Attendees can play live music, take solos, sing, or simply listen in a relaxed, supportive environment. Admission is free and no musical experience is required.
