#SambaChurch African-Brazilian Dance and Drum Community Classes

About this event

Samba Church offers weekly community movement classes rooted in Brazilian samba culture, open to dancers of all abilities. Led by live drummers from the Funky Time Players, the program prepares participants for the upcoming Carnaval season. Classes combine traditional African-Brazilian rhythms with Oakland s contemporary dance scene, creating an inclusive space for cultural celebration and artistic development.
