Summer Samba Bootcamp with Batuki

Batuki offers a free eight-week samba percussion bootcamp in Rio de Janeiro style, meeting Tuesday evenings. Participants learn samba history and the escolas de samba tradition while mastering various percussion instruments. The program builds community and culminates in ensemble performance opportunities at the Bayview Opera House.
