The Compton Rodeo Benefit

The Compton Rodeo Benefit honors the western and equestrian traditions of the Black and Latino cowboy community. The event features live banda and performances from El Compa Negro, line dancing instruction, food vendors, card games, a mechanical bull, and a mini museum exhibition. It celebrates the rich cultural history of Compton s cowboy heritage through music, dance, and community gathering.
